Since 1989 Bear Valley Cultural Arts Association has been promoting the Arts in our local community and surrounding areas.
Through the years since it’s inception the Cultural Arts Association has sponsored many events to highlight the vast talents of our mountain community. Other activities are organized to expand our art appreciation beyond the limits of our local area. Non-profit status was granted in 1989 enabling us to better support our scholarship programs for budding young artists.

Our Mission
We are a local organization that supports and promotes awareness and public interest in the cultural life of the greater Tehachapi community. We appreciate art, are curious about how artists create and are moved by great visual and performance art. We are a non-profit organization and endeavor to provide activities and events that feed the artistic soul of our community.
Our Vision
Our organization provides opportunities for our community members to enjoy events like our annual art show, concerts at Cub Lake and more formal venues. We plan trips to museums, gardens and other cultural sites and support presentations by experts in a variety of exciting fields.
Become A Member
Our fundraising efforts make it possible for us to make regular contributions to the Tehachapi arts community. We also support young artists and musicians with scholarships.
We welcome all those interested in joining the Cultural Arts Association and invite them to participate in the enjoyment and support of the Arts in Tehachapi.
